The Reverend was visiting with his father, Christmas of 1998. His father and mother were going to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and his father asked "Son, do you want to know my secret to a long and happy marriage?" The Reverend said that he did, and his father said "There are three things. First, always be the man. Second, always have the last word... and third, be sure the last word is 'Yes Ma'am!'" The Reverend and I agree that his father is a wise man. |
