Smile! I just love stories that remind me what it is like to see the world through the eyes of a child. When a mother saw a thunderstorm forming in mid-afternoon, she worried about her seven-year-old daughter who would be walking the three blocks from school to home. Deciding to meet her, the mother saw her walking nonchalantly along, completely unafraid, stopping to put a big smile on her face whenever lightning flashed. Spotting her mother, the little girl ran up to her. When the mother asked about the big smile every time the lightening flashed, the daughter explained enthusiastically, "All the way home, God's been taking my picture!" |
