Here Is An Interesting Use Of The Thesaurus

  1. Open a Microsoft Word (or Works) document, or use the one you are currently working on. It doesn't matter. Just do it in Microsoft Word (or Works).
  2. Type the phrase: I'd like Bill Clinton to resign.
  3. With your mouse, highlight the entire phrase as if you were going to check for spelling
  4. Move to the menu bar and click "tools", "language", "Thesaurus."
  5. Look at the suggested phrase.

I tested this in Word 97 under Windows 95, and it worked.  HAR!
