How?
I created this site in MS FrontPage 98.
I used the "Hover button" applet (until it
died), and hand-written JavaScript.
The quote selector is in the file cookies and the music selector is in the file called frame bottom
I added some code to change the text to bold on
browsers that support active code in pages. It still is not as nice as the Java was.
Why?
Because I could. Really. If you can
figure out another reason, please let me know: I am curious myself.
So far, I have mangled my wife's email (big trouble),
and lost several hours I could have spent sleeping.
It's been great fun so far!
Pinkpaw?
Come back later, when Pink Paw Fabrics lives here.
The cat will have a pink paw. Honest.
The website was going to be CINDEN.COM... but someone
beat me to that one.
Turns out Cindy wanted it to be DENCIN.COM, and would
have been unhappy anyway.
Why can't I see the sayings on the Home
page without scrolling down?
I built the page to live on 800x600 resolution or
above, sorry.
Why don't I hear music?
Why do the buttons turn a funny color?
Why is the bar below the page header blank?
Some of your page just doesn't work!
I only tested with Netscape
Navigator and MSIE.
I know that there are a LOT of fine browsers out
there besides these, but these are all I have on hand.
So,
who comes by?
What is a
WebRing?
No, Mama, I am not weird and there is no
hidden meaning in the quotes I chose. Sorry!
